Matters of Life and Death
Stories on the Brink
Sometimes Death is right around the corner, and other times Death sneaks up on you. And, sometimes, Death is staring you right in the face.

Remember that time you died? Well, almost died?

Was it in a hospital bed? Swimming with the sharks? On the dance floor? How about a parachute that worked perfectly until...

The Writers Anonymous team tells stories of life and death. Ten authors, who have somehow managed to survive seven decadse apiece, weave tales of unexpected danger, unspeakable dilemmas, bad choices, and dumb luck.

Fasten your parachutes, upgrade your life insurance, and prepare for the unpreparable. Matters of LIfe and Death will keep you on the brink from cover to cover.
Writers Anonymous is a group of classmates from Servite High School Class of 1971 - that's right, friends for more than half a century - who banded together and weathered the pandemic by forming a writers group. During the past 18 months, the group has now published three books: The Story You Tell , by David Molina; Technically Human, by Rick Thues, and a short story anthology by these ten authors, Matters of Life and Death. Two other books are completed and soon to be published: Skydivers Know Why Birds Sing, by Rick Thues, and How Were You Catholic Then? How Are You Catholic Now? by David Molina. In addition, Dennis Watson wrote Company B, a three- act play which he is planning to produce. Writers Anonymous meets twice monthly online.
